98 Points. The first time I've tasted it, the 2015 Cabernet Franc Wallah Wallah Special #9 is all Cabernet Franc from a multitude of vineyards that's released only in magnum. This deeper ruby/plum-hued effort (it's not opaque) offers a complex bouquet of mulled mulberries, blackberries, smoked herbs, old leather, chocolate, and spicy oak. This carries to a medium to full-bodied Cabernet Franc with a supple, elegant mouthfeel, a terrific core of sweet fruit, fine tannins, and a great finish.
