“Old-school winery in Savoie who have been wine since 1854, now on to the seventh generation. They have a great selection of wines which are indicative of cool, Alpine Savoie, but this Mondeuse was our favorite. Fresh and light-bodied, there’s nevertheless a deep intensity to the wine with vibrant acidity, chewy tannins, and crunchy red fruits. Think of this as a high-quality alternative to Beaujolais.”
