Established in 1993, Louise Vineyard is named for Cristom Winegrower and Owner Tom Gerrie’s great-grandmother. Planted on the lowest slopes of the Cristom estate, Louise is more sheltered from the cold Pacific Ocean winds by a small forest and hillside and has the most geologically diverse soils with volcanic, marine sedimentary, and Missoula Flood silts. The resulting wines have softened, focused acidity, and intense complexity, with a richness contributed by the 26–30-year-old vines.

The 2021 Louise Vineyard Pinot Noir is redolent of dark blackberry bramble, red currant, and cola with savory tobacco and spice. Well-integrated tannins lead to a persistent finish.
