Dusky Goose Dundee Hills Pinot Noir 2016
Vintage Notes: The winter was warm, budbreak was early and 2016 never looked back—bloom, veraison, and harvest all early records, beginning harvest in August and done before October. Although early, the growing season wasn’t as hot as the prior three, but still in the same new, warm norm. Fruit is fully ripe, with moderate alcohols, and good overall acidity.
Tasting Notes: This Pinot welcomes you with notes of cranberry, dusty wild raspberry, rose petal, violet & hints of vanilla bean. Silky fine tannins land mid-palate and the long finish is perfumed by currant, forest floor, clove, sweet cherries, and hints of pepper.
