“Located in Savigny-lès-Beaune, north of the Côte de Beaune, Domaine Jean-Michel Giboulot has 12 hectares of vines in the finest appellations (Beaune 1er Cru, Pommard, Savigny 1er Cru, Savigny-lès-Beaune, Savigny-lès-Beaune 1er Cru, with a majority of Pinot Noir). The vines are organically grown. The vinification is traditional with little intervention from the winemaker, using stainless steel and wood, and controlled temperatures.
Jean-Michel Giboulot has a hectare of Pinot Noir planted with sixty-year-old vines. Complex nose, violet and sour cherries dominating . It has a great volume on the palate, which is supported by a robust tannic texture and delicate acidity, ensuring a pleasant length and good age potential.“
