Originally created in collaboration with acclaimed winemaker Michel Rolland, this unique Merlot blend is produced by Long Shadows’ Director of Winemaking, Gilles Nicault.
Tasting Notes:
The 2021 Pedestal Merlot is a stunning wine with enticing aromas of black cherry and sweet spice. On the palate, vibrant layers of dark fruit, including plum, blackberry, and black cherry, are seamlessly integrated with notes of oak spice. The mouthfeel is balanced and richly textured from entry to mid-palate, culminating in a long, memorable finish.
