An expressive and exceptionally pretty, indeed the word perfumed would be apt, nose reflects notes of essence of red cherry, violet and exotic Asian-style tea. This is not nearly as concentrated as the Marsh Estate though it is noticeably finer and this senses of refinement carries over to the firm, dusty and moderately austere finale. Even at 4 years of age, the supporting structure makes clear that this is a wine to buy and forget for the next 4 to 7 years. This too is excellent. - Allen Meadows, Apr 2023

The aromas aren't ready to reveal themselves at present, suggesting notes of forest floor, herb and spice. The red and darker fruit flavors are in bloom, silky soft and textured, showing depth and grace. Fine-grained tannins support it all. It hangs on the finish - Sean P. Sullivan, May 2022
