Brilliant garnet ruby in the glass. The nose is complex with strawberry preserves, blackberry, oregano, toasted sage, mushroom, wildflowers, and graphite. The palate is balanced with medium mouthfeel, smooth tannins, and inviting acidity. It shows darker fruits than the aromatics suggest backed by tilled soil, grilled game, rosehip and dark chocolate, with a mineral-saline finish.
