Old vine complexity adds depth and texture to this palate-pleasing wine. It mixes blackberry and blueberry fruit with clean earth, white pepper, thistle and hints of freshly picked green beans. Though less than optimally ripe, it's well-structured and detailed. Drink this over the next three or four years. — Paul Gregutt
