The flagship Gran Reserva from Bodegas Muga, Prado Enea is only made in outstanding vintages. The 2016 was fermented in oak vats, followed by 36 months in oak barrels and additional bottle aging before release. The result is complex and layered: black cherry, dried fig, tobacco, clove, vanilla, and forest floor. Full-bodied yet balanced by Rioja’s trademark acidity, it’s a wine that will age gracefully for decades. Pair with lamb, roasted meats, or jamón ibérico. ABV ~14%.
