'The 2018 Syrah, which includes 30% whole bunch and was aged in used French oak for 14 months, has a lovely bouquet of brambly black fruit, black pepper and light bay leaf scents that unfurl wonderfully in the glass. The palate is medium-bodied with a ripe, very spicy entry and Provençal herbs mixed with tobacco and clove. Quite complex and poised, with good weight and density on the finish.
