The 2019 Domaine Chanson Santenay-Beauregard 1er Cru is a beautifully structured Burgundy Pinot Noir from the southern Côte de Beaune. It opens with aromas of ripe red berries, cherry, violet, spice, and subtle vanilla, layered over a distinctly mineral backbone from the limestone-rich soils of Beauregard. On the palate it’s elegant and silky with fine tannins, bright acidity, and a long, polished finish. Aged with moderate oak influence, the wine balances freshness and depth exceptionally well. Excellent alongside roasted poultry, duck, mushroom dishes, or soft cheeses.
