The Eola-Amity Hills, distilled into one bottle — by the man who named the AVA.

This is Evesham Wood's regional calling card, and the pedigree is literal:the Eola-Amity Hills AVA was established in July 2006 after the TTB reviewed a petition submitted by Russell Raney of Evesham Wood Vineyard and Ted Casteel of Bethel Heights Vineyard.Raney founded the winery with Mary in 1986, choosing the estate site "Le Puits Sec" after a comprehensive search of the Willamette Valley, and produced Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from the first vintage using fruit largely from Temperance Hill and Seven Springs.Erin and Jordan Nuccio took over the winery and Le Puits Sec Vineyard in August 2010.

Tasting notes — 2023: Savory raspberry tones mix with spiced orange and rosemary to create an alluring bouquet; lifted and pure in style, it offers crisp red berry fruits and notes of sweet lavender that swirl throughout. The finish is medium in length, crisp and fresh with a wild berry resonance that lingers.

The 2023 vintage: The modest temperatures and even growing season post-flowering resulted in wines that knit together quickly and show fantastic poise — a balance likely to produce wines that drink wonderfully young and will also mature well.
